Our Mission is to be a home for all heavies, to promote the different breeds and to get our member's involved having fun. We welcome and aim to cater for all owners and riders, of all levels and disciplines - from the show ring, eventing, adult riding club, pony club, trail riders, harness and also people just wanting to get out and meet others in your area with an interest in heavy horses.
AHHA annual memberships run from January 1 to December 31
Annual Membership Fees
$35 (Adult)
$50 (Family)
$25 (Junior, 18yrs and under)
The AHHA executive would like to take this opportunity to remind members that annual memberships are now due for 2024. Other membership types are available; 2 and 3 years. Please see application forms below for full details.

So what does your membership entitle you to? Well:
· Register a stud prefix
· Record eligible foals
· Register eligible adult mares (from breeds under our overarching registry)
· Register eligible adult stallions (from breeds under our overarching registry)
· Register eligible geldings (from breeds under our overarching registry)
· Issue Stallion service certificates
· Transfer recorded or registered horses
· Record eligible AHHA Part Bred horses (from breeds under our overarching registry)
· Attend and eligability to vote at the AHHA Annual General Meeting
· Newsletters emailed out quarterly
· Attend AHHA shows at a discounted price

All members will receive the National AHHA Newsletter, which will be published up to four times a year. The Newsletter will help keep members informed of up coming events/shows, event/show results, various features, member stories and achievements throughout the Association. Members will also have the opportunity to advertise horses for sale, products and services and other things they would like to advertise.

INSURANCE
All current financial members of the AHHA are covered for public liability insurance when they are competing at any AHHA event or activity.
